Usually government agencies don't make it to my blog but this is so ridiculous I had to post it. I got home today after a particularly long day at work to find that one of the books I have ordered for a friend for Christmas was waiting for me....little did I know that someone at the USPS has it in for me (or my Christmas presents) because it looks like someone ran over it with a truck, tried to open it and then finally just squished it...thank God it was a hardcover book!
As the title implies, I bleed burnt orange. Living, working and playing in the Austin area gives me lots of opportunity to experience new things and to do the things I love, now I have a place to write about it too.

That is really bad looking! I sent my friend wine for her gift and did not tell the postal service, said it was jam...well it was when it arrived...
Yea I'm not wholly convinced they don't make a sport of this type of thing!
Well, I am mad too! I was really mad when I saw it. The photo doesn't do justice. It looks like a truck ran over the postage envelope!
You gotta wonder sometimes! Wow, glad it made it to you alive! :)
It looks like they played kickball with it! Shame on them.
Hi Hornsfan, lovely to *meet* you and many thanks for calling by my blog :) You have a lovely site here!
Now for your book that really is bad service and running over your book - words fail me!!

Hey, I am blogging about my trip, but took it off the RSS Feed on foodbuzz, so no one has to see the proud parent rant, and do food separatly...so not sure it will show up???
