I'm pretty partial to orange in it's varied shades. - I know, shocking!
Anyway, my random note for the evening, since it's usually cool enough in my house my pumpkins (the uncarved ones) last pretty long each year, this year I sprayed them metallic gold (pumpkins and spray paint, more fun than a barrel of monkeys!) and will put them under the tree.
As soon as I get a spare moment to put up my tree I'll photo them under it but I couldn't help but take photos of my recently gilded pumpkins to share.

I love those fabulous pumpkins, they would have been great as pumpkin bread, soup, cookies, etc...but I adore the glitzy look they give the house with the new "remix" for the holidays!
From one pumpkin fanatic to another-I love it!!! I wish I bought an extra to do this with. Oh well, there's always next year.
I love this...one year I actually did something similar, but in christmas colors and lined them all outside down the walk way...the neighbors ask me to do it for them next time...
Reeni - this started as a complete fluke for me one year, having not carved one of three pumpkins (yes I'm a big fan of the pumpkin!).
Chef E - Love the idea of Xmas colors, I'll have to do that..but you see being the crazy UT fan that I am, I have an all-UT Xmas Tree so the gold matches better :)
BTW- I was poking fun at the Southern snacks...I bought them to bring home, cause they do not have them here in the NE...was gone a few days to visit an old friend, and my son ate it all, but one Zero bar!
Darn you kids sometimes...LOL
I am craving those cheetos right now!
Ha- that's pretty funny because I'm a big lover of those snacks - almost better than the hot cheetos, the cheetos hot fries!
